This Volume 5 of the Philippine Marine Mollusks is the consequent addition to the first 4 volumes. It contains all additions to the Philippine marine mollusk fauna since 2011, the year in which volume 4 was published. These additions concern new records as well as new species descriptions. Altogether the Philippine fauna has up to date 5835 named and documented species, belonging to 297 different families.
