About the Author
Oreste Bottiglieri, born in Cava de’Tirreni (SA) in 1972, lives between the Amalfi Coast and Cilento National Park, where he opened more than 600 climbing routes, including single pitches, multi-pitches, and classic
routes. He climbs since he was 13, he is aspiring to be a mountain guide, he is climbing instructor, nature guide, operator on ropes and most of all he’s the founder of “Climbing House”,
an association which for years has created and taken care of almost all climbing areas in Campania.
The passion for the mountain, the rock and his own land, and his work as a guide, took him through the years to discover and value most of climbing spots in Campania.
